Attention all parents and guests:
We will be presenting the 2009 encampment video beginning at 10:30am in room Cabot 85 on campus. Signs and personnel will be on-hand to direct guests to the auditorium. Depending on available time, we may show the video in an encore performance for late arrivals.
Graduation will begin with pass-in-review at 1300 on Sabine Field. We will then proceed to Plumley Armory for graduation. In the event of inclement weather, pass-in-review will be scrubbed from the schedule of events.
As gradution comes nearer, the cadets at encampment work even harder to do their best.
A little rain and a little sun today...
Over the past couple days, the weather has been hit-or-miss. We experienced another day of pass-through thunder storms today. On Thursday, the weather at Burlington caused the Black Hawk helicopter rides to be canceled. Although it was an unfortunate and unavoidable situation, we were able to make productive use of the time by allowing the cadets to take care of their inspection readiness.
Parents, family, and friends:
Thank you for your postal mail and email. The cadets have been happy to receive them on a daily basis.
Mail call happens daily at evening chow (1800). Keep the mail coming!

We're slightly better than half way through the encampment. The hard work and dedication of our basic cadets, with the guidance of their flight staff is shining through! The rigid nature of encampment procedures is becoming more routine by the day.
So far, every flight has earned destinction as honor flight, with Alpha Flight pulling ahead by one. Here's how they stack up, day-by-day:
Day 2: Alpha
Day 3: Delta
Day 4: Bravo
Day 5: Charlie
Day 6: Alpha
